The new Mercedes Sprinter 316 models display our new branding and vehicle wrapping designs and have a number of new Mercedes features built-on to the standard utility specification to enhance efficiency, performance and health and safety
The new state-of-the-art vehicles are fitted with 4-way DVR cameras providing the driver with real time 360 degree vision which eliminate bind spots and therefore enhance cycle and pedestrian safety. They also allow recording which will inform driver training and dispute resolution.
Alan Seyfi, Support Services Director commented “The newly acquired vehicles are a first for Falco Construction since inception to have Mercedes as the primary manufacturer via GAP Vehicle Hire as our main Fleet source, and with our invested enhanced vehicle utility specification to ensure the drivers are equipped with all the facilities they require to ensure safe loading and driving makes this the number one vehicle layout for Falco.“
The 316 Model come with a combined GTW of 7000kg enabling the vehicles to easily tow 3500kg Mini Excavators and Trailer.
The vehicles also meet the Euro VI emissions standard therefore making them complaint with the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) which was introduced in Central London in April 2019. The vans also come with SOS/ Emergency Call enables the driver to manually connect to the Mercedes – Benz Emergency response centre in the event of an emergency. The New Vehicle wrapping concept that started on the drawing board table in 2018 was to bring a different dimension to our corporate identity was finally approved ready for the New 19 Plate Registrations where the 6 month roll-out which started in March 2019, will see our old vehicles gradually replaced with the new models
